Lead Maverick is my current full-time employer. When I started working for Lead Maverick in 2007 the company website promoted what seemed to be software…and software no more current than the 1990s at that! Needless to say, one of my first tasks was to redesign the company’s website to better reflect the product, the brand, and current state of the company. We worked with the existing brand materials that had made it onto stationary but hadn’t found their way onto the web. After many variations on the themes of the website we nailed down a website that finally communicated the goals of the company and the benefits of the product. Success.

The Crowne Plaza Invitational website was the online headquarters for the 2008 Crowne Plaza Invitation at Colonial, won by Phil Mickelson. The home page went through, and continues to go through, many changes to accommodate new marketing efforts. We easily achieved this with tabs that could easily be swapped out with new content including RSS feeds, score updates, advertisements, and other PGA happenings.
CollegeLife wanted a very simple, very streamlined site design and I was able to accomplish that. We were also able to work in a very robust featured content area on the home page which enables the highlighting of the more important pieces of information on the site. Because of using WordPress the administration of the site is very easy, yet very flexible and makes for a very dynamic site.
